Kathryne Shearer

Kathryne M. Shearer works as the Disability Resources, Education, and Access Management Director for Gonzaga University, in Spokane, Washington State, USA, and is a nationally certified rehabilitation counselor. She has worked in the field of disability services for more than 25 years in a variety of positions including higher education administrator, vocational rehabilitation counselor, sign language interpreter and consultant to business and non-profit enterprises. She holds a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University and is pursuing a doctoral degree in Leadership Studies from the same institution. Her research focus is social justice and diversity toward enhancing inclusion and empowerment for persons with disabilities.
