Harry Potter as modern day youth activist: What Americans can learn from one young Brit

This paper examines the implications of the Harry Potter series for the field of youth organising. Drawing on youth and community organising literature, as well as contemporary, real-world examples of youth activism, I analyse Rowling's contributions and relationship to the framing of young people and her collectivist, intergenerational model of youth-led activism.
