Ronnie Carmeli

Ronnie Carmeli was born in 1973, Jerusalem, Israel. She completed her BA in philosophy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and continued her studies in clinical psychology at Tel-Aviv University. Her thesis is titled: 'The Oedipus Complex in Freud and Lacan'. In addition, she has learnt Greek and Latin, for the fun of it. After completing her MA with honours, she now works as a psychologist in the Schneider Children's Hospital and in the Israeli Society for Autistic Children. She is an enthusiastic Harry Potter reader, and finds the books theoretically illuminating and extremely helpful in clinical practice.
