This is the design for the cover of the conference programme. Also see the
T-shirt Design Contest Are you ready to design? Then get out your
pen, paper, mouse, scanner and thinking hat. When you are finished with your
design, and you submit a low resolution design in accordance with the submission
guidelines, specs and rules, they will be posted in a Gallery
and then voted upon by members of the conference. The winner will receive a
copy of the program and bragging rights at the conference.
The rules are fairly simple, but they must be followed.Please
read them carefully 1. You do not have to be an attendee to participate in this
contest. 2. Your art must not contain any trademark or copyrighted images, or
materials protected by Warner Brothers™, Bloomsbury™, or Scholastic™.
Your submission must be an original design by you and no one else. 3. Your art must be related to the conference theme, "Summoning
and Reading" in it, and not have any direct imagery that
is libel for copyright infringement by trademarks and copyrights protected by
and associated with Warner Brothers™, Bloomsbury™, or Scholastic™. 4. You may enter as many designs as you want. 5. Each entry must be accompanied with a REAL
first and last name, mailing address, and valid email address. This is so we
can be as sure as possible that you are a real person; and should we need to
contact you about your design we will not have any problems getting in touch
with you. Your information, other than you name will not be shared or sold to
solicitors. Your name will be used to identify your entry. Please put this into

Email Address: 6. Your entry must fulfill all aspects of the entry specs
in order to qualify for the contest. 7. Entries may be entered no later than April 1, 2005,
by Midnight BST. Any entries received after this date will not be qualified. 8. By entering your design into this contest you agree to these
rules and give Accio 2005 the permission to print your design on the conference
programme Cover, and understand that we have the right to
alter your design should we have to for any reason. You also agree that it is
okay to publish your design on our website and in any other conference related
materials should we decide to display it.You also understand that you will receive
no royalties for the reproduction of your artwork/design. 9. Winner will recieve a copy of the final programme when they
are printed.
Guidelines & Specs
TOP These are the guideline specs you need to follow to enter your design
in properly. Please read them carefully. 1. Your design must be within A4 page size (210mm x 297mm,
8.27" x 11.69"). This design will go on the front cover of the conference
programme. 2. These are the formats we are excepting: GIF, JPEG, PNG,
TIFF, EPS, & PDF. 3. For entry reasons only your design may be LOW RESOLUTION,
72 dpi. BUT you must have a high resolution file in at least 200-300
dpi in reserve should your design win. If it wins and you do not have a high
resolution file handy, we will not be able to produce it properly. Do
not send the high resolution file when submitting. 4. Your design must have thistheme:Summoning
and Readinginvolved in it. Your design may be full
color (please note that we may change it to monotone later). NO TEXT
or typographic elements may be part of the design and it must look good with
this template:
however, please do not incorporate this cover template/layout in your design,
that is what the programme designer will be doing later. 5. Design must be appropriate in content and nature. Any entry
that is of a foul or pornographic nature will be ignored. 6. Your design must be an original work of art by you.

Voting
Voting will not take place until: April 5, 2005. Voting
will end on midnight BST April 12, 2005. The winner of the contest will be announced
some time on April 13, 2005. These dates and times are subject to change.
