Michael Howarth

Michael Howarth is a doctoral student at the University of Louisiana Lafayette. In 2003 he received his MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Alaska Anchorage. His teaching areas include Film Studies, Children's Literature, American Literature, and 19th-Century British Literature. His short fiction has appeared in Beginnings, Flashquake, and The Southwestern Review. Originally from Cape Cod Massachusetts, he enjoys traveling, writing, cooking, and playing frisbee on the beach.
