Kimberly Lesk graduated with a Master's degree in English Lit. from Rutgers University in May 2005. Her thesis was entitled "Girls Gone Wild: A Deconstruction of Females in the Harry Potter Series". Currently, she is teaching at Carlow University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and plans to get a PhD in Children's Literature. Her favourite authors are JK Rowling and Cornelia Funke.
