Biography of Author Presenting at Accio 2005

Kiah Morris

Kiah Morris is a college student by day and a poet, performer, activist and artist by night. She hails from the metropolis of Chicago, Illinois, the home of Al Capone, Michael Jordan, Oprah Winfrey and the deep dish pizza. She is an avid fan of the Harry Potter series and is excited to move one of her favourite guilty pleasures into the spotlight through her academic work. She's a live music junkie and is always in the mood for good food, good wine or a great cup of coffee. She has two cats, one dog and a wonderful fiance. Her patronus would probably be a lioness. On the serious side, she is currently completing her BS in Gender and Women's Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a MS degree candidate in Library and Information Sciences, minoring in Gender and Women's Studies.
